The private driver from DriveMe has a multiple of the experience of a student driver, both in driving skills and social skills. The private driver is an adult professional who has turned their hobby of driving into a career—and excels at it. As a result, the driver has excellent knowledge of the Dutch road network.

A private driver costs €36,50 per hour, excluding VAT. For trips that start and end at the same location, one extra hour is automatically charged to cover travel time to the starting point. A minimum booking of 3 hours applies.

If the driver works longer than 8 hours, a meal allowance of €20 will be charged.

With a private driver, you can work or relax uninterrupted while on the road. You arrive at your appointments fresh, well-prepared, and stress-free. You don’t have to worry about parking or charging the car—your private driver takes care of that for you. If you have other tasks that need to be done, discuss them with the driver before you head into your appointment. On the way back home, you can catch up on emails, leaving your entire evening free for other activities.

An executive driver is certified by the CBR and has successfully completed at least the CCV D1 training. He is a master driver and always takes to the road exceptionally well-prepared. He knows (alternative) routes by heart. Professionalism and driving comfort are mastered to the highest level. At DriveMe, you can choose between D1 and D2 executive drivers. Certified executive drivers are typically employed by the government and top executives in the business world.

DriveMe offers no-claim protection when you hire a student driver. This protection costs €5 per assignment.

If, unexpectedly, damage occurs during the trip, DriveMe will cover the loss of no-claim (and any resulting extra premium) for a period of 3 years, up to a maximum of €1,600. The car must be fully insured (all-risk). If you have only liability (WA) or WA-plus insurance, the driver operates at the client’s risk. This also applies when the driver must drive in winter conditions.

If you live in or near one of the four major cities, please allow for an average of one hour of the driver’s travel time. If you live further outside the Randstad (e.g., Groningen), this travel time may be longer. If the driver travels to you by car, the kilometers will be charged at €0.46 per kilometer.
